A teve-velő levesben fogyasztva, vagy kenőcsként alkalmazva féreg ellen használ. A vad teve vére, porított rákhússal keverve, és a férfira kenve a heveny kankó ellenében hasznos és jót tesz az agynak is. A teve vizelete a tejével együtt fogyasztva a heveny májbaj ellen jó. A tűzön felforralt, felére főzött és szerecsendióporral kevert teve-vizeletből készült ital a szemkönnyezés és a szemviszketegség ellen jó. A tevevelőt szárítsuk meg, tegyük ecetbe: italként a holdkórosságon segít. Ha pedig egy állat nem akar közösülni, fogjuk azt a tarisznyát, amelyből a teve abrakolt és másnap reggelig akasszuk az állat farkára: a teve illata majd meghozza a kedvét és nem húzódozik többé a közösüléstől.
